In Loving Memory of Patsy (Cyphers) Poling

Patsy (Cyphers) Poling, age 68, died Wednesday, July 15, 2015, in Clayton, New Mexico. 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 18, at the First United Methodist Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Terrell Jones, pastor of the Trinity Fellowship Church in Clayton, officiating. Burial will follow in the Garcia Plaza Cemetery at the Blue Front Ranch by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton. 

Patsy (Cyphers) Poling was born on June 27, 1947, in Clayton, New Mexico to William Walter “Bill” Cyphers and Doris Audene (Fudge) Cyphers. A lifetime resident of Union County, Patsy graduated from Clayton High School in 1965 and married George Tom Poling on October 16, 1965 in Sedan, New Mexico and he preceded her in death on August 27, 2001. They lived at the Blue Front Ranch until 1994 when they moved into Clayton. Patsy did sewing and alteration work while raising her children and later started selling Mary Kay Cosmetics. In 1994 she opened her store, Facets in Gold and started selling jewelry. Patsy was very active in the Cow Belles, Union County Chamber of Commerce, Clayton Main Street and the Union County Community Development Corporation. In addition to her husband, Patsy was preceded in death by her parents Bill Cyphers on December 28, 2010 and Doris (Fudge) Cyphers on July 22, 2009. 

SURVIVORS: 

1 DAUGHTER: Audra Crisp and her husband Clay of Clayton, New Mexico. 

2 SONS: Todd Poling and his wife Honey and Trent Poling and his wife Jennifer all of Clayton, NM. 

Her Companion: Harry Rosenbloom of Santa Fe, New Mexico. 

Her best friend: Linda Whaley 

10 GRANDCHILDREN: Tucker Poling, Preslie Poling, Bo Poling, Levi Poling, Dustin Poling, Triton Poling, Alison Poling, Monty Crisp, Katy Crisp and Karley Crisp. 

3 SISTERS: Judy Little and her husband Lonnie of Stead, New Mexico, Vicky English and her husband Mike of Granbury, Texas and Sheila Herndon and her husband Phil of Murfeesboro, Tennessee. 

1 BROTHER: Douglas Cyphers of Amarillo, Texas. 

And several Nieces and Nephews. 

MEMORIALS: The family asks that memorials be made in Patsy’s memory to the Union County General Hospital or to the Cindy Burns Memorial Scholarship Fund, care of the Farmers and Stockmans Bank in Clayton.
