Sandy grauduated from Englewood High School and settled in Trinidad, spending several years in California before returing to live in Stonewall Colorado, her favorite place. She had several occupations, a coal miner in Craig, Colorado. A gas station manager in California and Trinidad, CO. In her younger years she rode a motorcycle every where and also was able to work, ride, party and be an amazing single mother.
Sandy was very artistic and enjoyed arts and crafts, crocheting several blankets and sewing. She loved collecting trinkets and giving trinkets to everyone she met. She had the most incredible sense of humor and made the best of every situation. She was sincerely sweet and spiritual. She loved her Bibles and hymnals and praying for others. She was fond of fresh flowers like carnations and lillies. She loved the mountains and spending time outdoors in Stonewall.
Sandy was so sick for so long having many holidays in the hospital but she never gave up! She endured countless surgeries and broken bones but always managed miracle after miracle recovering and becoming known as the toughest & most determined spirit in Stonewall, The SanLady! She loved & adored her siblings, her children, grandchildren, neices, nephews, Randy and her friends with all of her incredible heart always expressing her love so generously. Sandy always helped out anyone in need and never complained about her trials, she focused on the good in life and her health. She is missed terribly and will never be forgotten for all the help and awesome things she did for people even if it was just a short sweet conversation, every moment was special to her, never knowing how long she had.
