The Tone of Raton with Raton City Manager Scott Berry

  Raton City Manager Scott Berry sat down with KRTN Friday morning and discussed the tone of Raton. 

As the city prepares to begin another fiscal year Berry talked about the budget beginning with gross receipts taxes and how it makes up about 70% of the city’s income. He also covered the how and whys of RPS and the Water Board as well as the other departments. Finally Berry discussed economic development and the direction of the city despite the loss in population and the changes in the economy.
