In Loving Memory of Joe W. Trujillo

Joe W. Trujillo, age 71, died Wednesday, May 13, 2015 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. 

Rosary was recited at 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 17 by Elsie Garcia and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 18 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton with Fr. Joel Bugas as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton. 

Joe W. Trujillo was born on March 3, 1944 in Roy, New Mexico to Rose Maria (Tafoya) Trujillo and Moises Trujillo. He attended school in Roy and then moved to Texline, Texas where he worked for several years before joining the US Army. Joe served 7 years in the Army and then moved to Clayton where he worked for the Town of Clayton for several years. He later worked at the Union County Feedlot for ten years and then went back to work for the Town of Clayton until he retired on May 1, 2014 and moved to Colorado Springs to live with his daughter. Joe was preceded in death by his parents; Moises and Rose Trujillo, his adopted parents, Arturo and Fugelma Sandoval, 2 sisters; Barbara Vigil and Evelyn Sintas and 3 brothers; Felix Trujillo, Leroy Trujillo and Carlos Sandoval. 

SURVIVORS: 

1 DAUGHTER: Darlene Blea of Colorado Springs, Colorado. 

1 SON: Joey Sandoval of Clayton, New Mexico. 

7 Grandchildren: Angel Blea, Angelica Littlehawk, Johnny Littlehawk, Mary Jane Cramer, Josh Sandoval, Joseph Sandoval and Jenna Sandoval. 

3 Great-Grandchildren 

8 SISTERS: Earleen Encinias and her husband Dario of Dumas, Texas, Geneva Medina and her husband Raymond, Mary Archuleta and her husband Gene, Lillie Padilla and her husband Jerry, Sally Sandoval and David Padilla and Mary Blan and her husband Joe all of Clayton, New Mexico, Toni Martinez and her husband Orlando of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Faye Sandoval of Amarillo, Texas. 

3 BROTHERS: Robert Trujillo and his wife Lisa, Keko Trujillo and his wife Dolores and Moses Trujillo and his wife Shelly all of Clayton, New Mexico. 

And numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
