Graduation New Mexico State Police Class 88

New_Mexico_State_PoliceSanta Fe County On May 7, 2015 thirty-four New Mexico State Police recruits earned their badges at a badge ceremony.  This traditional ceremony started at the Law Enforcement Academy in the early morning hours and ended with current members of the New Mexico State Police welcoming them into the family.  

On Friday, May 8, 2015 at 9:00 a.m., the 88th New Mexico State Police Recruit Class will graduate and become New Mexico State Police officers.  The Graduation will be held at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center, located 201 W. Marcy Street, Santa Fe, NM. 

Please join us to acknowledge the sacrifice and dedication these individuals have displayed and the accomplishments they have earned over the course of the twenty-two week academy.  These thirty-four soon-to-be officers are now dedicated to serving the State of New Mexico by providing safety and security to all New Mexicans, as well as to those who travel to and from this great state. 

During the graduation ceremony, Department of Public Safety Secretary Gregory Fouratt and New Mexico State Police Chief Pete Kassetas will be addressing the class.  Magistrate Judge Joe Madrid will be swearing in the new officers.
