Nancy J. Segura age 63 of Raton, NM, passed away Saturday May 2, 2015 in Raton. She was born November 7, 1951 in Raton the daughter of Samuel and Patricia Romero-Martinez. She was a home maker and loved bowling, volleyball, bingo and playing the slots and was a loving wife and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Virginia Villaescusa.
Nancy is survived by her husband Leo Segura Sr. of the home, two sons Leo Segura Jr. and wife Roberta and Damon T. Segura and wife Crissy all of Raton. One sister June Segura of Raton. Grandchildren Natasha, Desiree, Dominic, Josh, Patricia, Devon, Bianca, Rosslynn, Grayson and four great grandchildren. Sisters-in-law Nancy Valdez, Marcella and husband Joe Duncan and Amelia and husband Gilbert Vigil. Brothers-in-law Leonard Segura and wife Loretta and Raul Segura and wife Amy.
Visitation will be Thursday May 7, 2015 from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home in Raton.
Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be Friday May 8, 2015 at 9:00 A.M. at St. Patrick’s-St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Raton recited by Frank Cimino Jr. Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 9:30 with Father John Trambley as the celebrant. Rite of committal will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Raton.
