Eddie Leroy Cardenas, 64, died Tuesday April 21st in Raton, New Mexico after a long illness with his family by his side.
Eddie was born March 25, 1951 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Dorothy and Seferino Cardenas.
Eddie graduated from Raton High School in 1969 and was the owner of Mor Cars Autobody Shop. He is known to his family as spirit minded and talented in art work.
He was preceded in death by his parents Dorothy and Seferino Cardenas.
Eddie is survived by his children Richard (Felicia), Ed (Lori), and Jonathan (Angela), grandchildren Deazia, Destiny, Fayth, RJ, Kylie, Kaitlan and Emarie, brother Danny and sister-in-law Florence Cardenas, sisters Irene Chavez, Margaret and brother-in-law Andy Armijo and many many friends.
Visitation will take place Monday April 27th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home Chapel. Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be held Tuesday April 28th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick-St. Joseph’s Catholic Church recited by Deacon Thomas Alderette. Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 10:00 a.m. with Father John Trambley as the celebrant.
Funeral arrangements for Eddie Cardenas are under the direction of the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home of Raton.
