In Loving Memory of Robert Wayne Holland

Robert Wayne Holland, age 62, died Tuesday, April 14, 2015. 

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Central Time on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the Clayton Gospel Church in Clayton, New Mexico. Arrangements are under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton. 

Robert Wayne Holland was born on January 15, 1953 in Fort Worth, Texas to Lawrence Wayne Holland and Mary (Winkles) Holland. He graduated from High School in Hereford, Texas and joined the US Army where he served for four years in Germany. Robert married Loretta (Nichols) Holland on July 30, 1977 in Dumas, Texas. They lived in Dumas, Fort Worth and Capitan, New Mexico before moving to Texline in 1988. Robert worked as a truck driver for Poole Chemical for 14 years and then together with Loretta operated John’s Coffee Shop in Texline for four years before he went to work for Flying Star Transport where he worked for the last 11 years. 

SURVIVORS: 

WIFE: Loretta Holland of Texline, Texas. 

4 DAUGHTERS: Deidra Holland of Austin, Texas, Mindy Clark of Hobbs, New Mexico, Jennifer Summers of Clayton, New Mexico and Ginger Cruz and her husband Joe of Littleton, Colorado. 

13 Grandchildren including Kristen Holland from Fort Collins, Colorado that he raised. 

8 Great-Grandchildren 

1 BROTHER: James Holland and his wife Peggy of Clovis, New Mexico. 

2 SISTERS: Carolyn Cate of Clovis, New Mexico and Marilyn Haley of Dumas, Texas. 

And numerous nieces and nephews.
