Ted Joe Encinias age 85 passed away April 5, 2015 in Pueblo, Colorado. He was born July 6, 1929 in Maxwell, NM to Tircio and Mary Cordova Encinias.
He was a resident of Pueblo, Colorado and a member of Lady of the Meadows Catholic Church. He served in the Army National Guard for 35 years and was a member of the Eagles Club #145 in Pueblo. He was preceded in death by his brother Louie Encinias and the mother of his children Marie S. Armenta.
He is survived by daughters Dolly Montoya and husband Eddie of Huntington Park, California, Teddie Ramirez and husband Danny of Montebello, California, sisters Margaret Vigil of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Josie LeDoux of Springer, New Mexico, companion of 18 years Angie Shurtz of Pueblo, Colorado, 11 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will take place Monday April 13th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Maxwell, New Mexico. Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 10:30 a.m. with Father John Trambley as the celebrant. Rite of committal and interment will be held at the Maxwell Cemetery.
