Frank (Francis Anthony) Geraldi, very well aged to 73, June 10, 1941 – March 12, 2015
Frank died peacefully in his home after a brief, but intense, experience with liver cancer. He was a 100% Italian master carpenter, a true craftsman and artisan with a flair for artistic creativity, and often self-appointed Foreman and Advisor of Everything About Life. He was also a motorcycle enthusiast, an avid bluesman and enthusiastic supporter of live music. He lived life fully, on his own terms, and his own schedule. Eccentric and beloved; Papa Frank was a unique father, awesome grandfather, and friend to many. He did not mince words and went out with the same zest and feistiness that he lived by.
To everyone whose path he crossed, thank you for your kindness, generosity, tolerance, humor, meals, parties, rides, concerts, acceptance, and shenanigans. He colored the world of anyone he met in strange and wonderful ways.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his younger sister Cecilia, and many friends who he considered part of his chosen extended family. He will be loved and remembered forever by his two daughters, Mandy and Sarah Jane; his adored grandchildren who were the prides of his life Megan, Raven, Marley, Max and River; his sons Michael and Richie; his sisters Phyllis (Bruce) and Lillian (Al), his brother Peter; his nieces and nephews; and countless friends from all corners of his life.
Please join Mandy and Sarah Jane at Frank’s Wake, in the honor and true spirit of his life at Ju Jo’s Pub, 155 N. Chestnut, in Trinidad, Saturday, March 28th at 3:00 PM.
