Samuel Patrick Encinias, Sr., age 69, died Friday, February 27, 2015, in Clayton, New Mexico.

Samuel Patrick Encinias, Sr. Was born on January 26, 1946 in Tucumcari, New Mexico to Jose Encinias and Marcella (Padilla) Encinias. He graduated from Tucumcari High School and joined the United States Air Force. Sam served twenty years in the US Air Force as a Tech Sergeant and Medic before he retired. After he retired he moved to Santa Fe where he lived until December of 2014 when he moved to Clayton to live with his daughter due to his health. Sam was preceded in death by his parents, a son; Robert Encinias, a brother; Paul Encinias and a grandson; Samuel Patrick Encinias, III.
SURVIVORS:
3 DAUGHTERS: Loretta Encinias of Clayton, New Mexico, Sarah Encinias of Norman, Oklahoma and Esperanza “Hope” Encinias.
3 SONS: Samuel Patrick Encinias, Jr. and his wife Jane of Littleton, Colorado, Daniel Encinias of Norman, Oklahoma and Christopher Davis.
1 SISTER: Gloria Beaza and her husband Johnny of Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
2 BROTHERS: Jimmy Encinias and his wife Teresa of Clovis, New Mexico and Pete Encinias of Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
