Patricia A. Mascarenas, age 62, passed away February 14, 2015 at Parkview Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Trinidad, CO. on March 29, 1952 the daughter of Rafelita (Herrera) and Alfonso Romero.
She attended area schools, graduating from Trinidad High School in 1970. She was employed as a secretary most of her life working at Mt. San Rafael Hospital and Edward D. Jones.Trish enjoyed going to Cripple Creek and dancing. She loved her family and enjoyed sending time with them .
Her kindness and love will be missed by all who knew her.
Preceding her in death are parents, Rafelita and Alfonso Romero, husband John Mascarenas, brothers Alfredo Romero, Antonio Romero, brothers in law Dave Garduno, Carl Smith, nephew Frankie Romero and niece Savonna Mascarenas.
She is survived by special companion of years, Ronald Cruz, Trinidad sisters Jennie Garduno, Trinidad, Mary Smith, Trinidad, Lorraine (Steve) Mascarenas, Trinidad, brothers,Jerry (Elena) Romero, LaJunta, Mike (Yolanda) Romero, Trinidad, Alfonso (Christine) Romero Jr., Arizona, grandchildren, Sateva, Aaron, Rosie, Tyler, Jeremiah, Adage, and her many nieces and nephews, whose lives she touched in many ways, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be Monday, February 23, 2015 with Rosary at 9AM at Comi Chapel, followed by Funeral Mass at 10AM at Holy Trinity Church.
Inurnment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
Arrangements under the direction of the Comi Funeral Home.
We love u auntie I will always rember ur kindness and ur loving heart . U are loved by so many . I rember all the times we spent with u . My heart hurts to believe that u are gone but u are in heaven wit my daddy and grandma and grandpa Romero and can imagine how happy u guys are together and u are not suffering anymore . God please take care of her she is a wonderful person always in my heart till we meet again I love u auntie .
