Arthur J. Bueno passed away on February 14, 2015.
He was born May 21, 1931 in Segundo, CO to Isidor and Angelina Bueno, He served in the U.S. Army. Most of his life he worked in the coal mines of southern Colorado and northern New Mexico. He was a proud member of the UMWA. He also worked for W.M. Serazio until his retirement. He was a hard core Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and dancing.
Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters: Bernice, Lucille, Emily, and Billie, and brothers: gilbert and Robert.
Arthur is survived by one brother Isador Bueno, Jr. and wife Karen of Thorton, CO, daughters: Sandy Cannon of Trinidad, CO, Mercy Silva and husband Mike of Spokane, WA, Debbie Darris and Husband Leonard of Raton, Florence Hernandez or Raton, and Roberta Montoya and husband Ramon of Raton, son Art Bueno, Jr. and wife Rita of Raton. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family would like to thank MCMC Long Term Care and Acute Care especially Janet Madison.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday February 20, 2015 at 11am in the Chapel of the Alderette Pomeroy Funeral Home.
