Leo Victor Pagett, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, went to join the Lord on the 7th day of February 2015, at the age of 85. He was born September 11, 1929 to Leo and Zelma Pagett in Pennington, N.M. Vic graduated from Clayton High School and went into the Service in 1951 until 1953. After returning from the Service Vic worked for Colorado Interstate Gas Company, retiring after 40 years. In addition to working for CIG he also loved farming and ranching.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Leo and Zelma Pagett, sister Wallene Banks, brother Lavon Pagett, granddaughter Machelle Pagett, and grandson Neal Pagett.
Vic is survived by his wife of 60 years Jeanne Pagett of Raton, N.M. Brothers Jack (Violet) Pagett of Clayton, N.M. and Ronnie (Kay) Pagett of Canyon, T.X. Four sons Dr. Kenneth Pagett of Albuquerque, N.M. Wade (Christi) Pagett of Woodward, O.K. Craig Pagett of Des Moines, N.M. Kirk Pagett of Albuquerque, N.M. and daughter, Tana Pagett of Raton, N.M. Grandsons Zachary Pagett, Connor Pagett, Riley (Lauren) Pagett, Derek Leininger, Dane Leininger, and Ty Dean Pagett, and granddaughters Amy Pagett and Danielle Leininger.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday the 11th day of February from 9am to 10am at the Alderette Pomeroy Funeral Home. Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will follow the viewing at 10am in the chapel of the Alderette Pomeroy Funeral Home recited by the Legion of Mary. Following the rosary there will be grave side services at Mt. Calvary Cemetery at 11am. After the graveside services, there will be a dinner at the parish hall.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that a donation be made to St. Patrick’s St. Joseph’s Parish or favorite charity.
