Rodney David Leal, age 59, died Monday, January 26, 2015 in Amarillo, Texas.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Clayton Memorial Cemetery in Clayton, New Mexico. Arrangements are under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.
Rodney David Leal was born May 30, 1955 in Clayton, New Mexico to Gilbert Leal and Mary Helen (Blan) Leal. He married Marilyn (Madrid) Leal on July 3, 1976 in Clayton, New Mexico. David worked as a truck driver for many years, He taught CDL classes for Mesalands Community College in Tucumcari, New Mexico and worked as a heavy equipment operator for the Union County Road Department for many years. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by 1 sister, Elaine Casanova, 1 brother, Lawrence Leal as an infant and a nephew; Jamie Padilla.

WIFE: Marilyn Leal of Clayton, New Mexico.
3 SONS: Phillip Madrid and his wife Brenda of Amarillo, Texas, Jody Leal and his wife Christine of Pecos, New Mexico and Joseph Leal of Santa Teresa, New Mexico.
7 Grandchildren: Lucretia Pate, Jody “J.L.” Leal, Jr., Shania Leal, Tristan Leal, Breana Blan, Veronica Leal and Diego Leal.
3 Great-Grandchildren: Brayden, Layney and Ethan Pate.
3 SISTERS: Arlene Espino, Cathy Sisneros and her husband Edward and Marlene Rios and her husband Antonio all of Clayton, New Mexico.
1 Brother-In-Law: Jesse Casanova of Garden City, Kansas.
And many Nieces and Nephews.
