Marie Donati Bisetti, 96 passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014 at MCMC Hospital in Raton.
Marie was born December 3, 1918 in Koehler, NM to Frank and Helen Donati.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Ellen Chicarelli and Ernie Pais and brother Angelo Donati and by husband Tony Bisetti.
She is survived by two sons, Ed and wife Jeannie of Albuquerque and Bob and wife Donna of Rio Rancho. 3 grandchildren: Jason (Lisa) Bisetti; Damon (Amy) Bisetti; Stacey (Justin) Dauz; 9 great-children, Jade, Cody, Whitney, Alyssa, Brody, Tineisha, Javian, Anthony, Jacob and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.
She grew up in the coal camps in Northeastern, NM and Southern Colorado including Swastika (Brilliant), Dawson, Gardner and others and graduated from Raton High School in 1939. She worked as the floor manager/bookkeeper for JJ Newberrys Department store in Raron for 12 years and then at International State Bank for 30 years. She was a member of the MCMC Auxilliarywith over 5000 hours of volunteer service and of St.Patrick’s-St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Marie was kind, generous and loyal and her family was her first priority. She will be missed.
Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be Saturday January 10, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at the St. Patrick’s-St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Raton recited by Frank Cimino, Jr. Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 11:00 A.M. with Father John Trambley as the celebrant, Rite of Christian burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Raton.
