State Representative Dennis Roch (R-67) will be in Clayton and Raton on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 to hear policy and funding requests from public entities, including the Town of Clayton, Union County, Clayton Municipal Schools, the City of Raton, Colfax County, Raton Public Schools, High Plains REC, and the Miners Colfax Medical Center.
Roch, who helped direct funding to Clayton last year for the senior center and for roof repairs on various municipal buildings, will participate in the joint meeting of the Union County Commission and Clayton Board of Trustees at 9:30 AM in the county courthouse annex.
Later that day, Roch will appear in the Raton City Commission Chambers at 2:00 PM to hear progress on prior capital funding he helped secure for street repairs in Raton, senior center operations, as well as critical repair work at Lake Maloya Dam. He will also hear updated funding requests from area entities.
“I consider it a great honor to represent northeastern New Mexico,” said Roch, “and I look forward to hearing from area organizations as they share with me their priorities before the legislature convenes in Santa Fe next month.”
Both events are open to the public and to the media.
