Rena Lou Parman, age 81, died Tuesday, November 25, 2014 in Amarillo, Texas.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Amistad United Methodist Church in Amistad, New Mexico with Lynn Clay officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.
Rena Lou (Ricketson) Parman was born on November 24, 1933 in Amistad, New Mexico to Homer Ricketson and Eunice Norma (Steele) Ricketson. A lifelong resident of the Amistad area, Rena married Charles Parman on August 26, 1951 at her parents home in Amistad. They lived in the Amistad area all of their lives and Rena was very involved in the Amistad United Methodist Church and taught Bible School for many years. She was also a member of the New Mexico Study Club and together with Charles drove a school bus for many years. They loved to play trey pitch with all of their friends in the Amistad and Nara Visa area. In addition to her parents, Rena was preceded in death by two brothers; David Ricketson and Homer Ricketson, Jr. and by a daughter; Fay Fields.

1 DAUGHTER: Mary Osborn and her husband Dan of Logan, New Mexico.
1 SON: Walter Parman and his wife Dinkie of Channing, Texas.
1 SON-IN-LAW: Bill Fields of Texline, Texas
7 GRANDCHILDREN: Justin Osborn and his wife Lena of Logan, New Mexico, Todd Osborn and his wife Bonnie of Tucumcari, New Mexico, Tanner Osborn and his wife Hailee of Edgewood, New Mexico, Amanda Greene and her husband Shane, Rebecca Greene and her husband Trevor and David Fields all of Texline, Texas and Danae Parman of Channing, Texas.
