Barbara Lucile Stevens, age 78 of Raton, NM, passed Sunday November 23, 2014 in Raton.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Edna Lark, brother Donald Lark and Sister Betty Reid.
Barbara worked early on in her years at Reno’s Café and then at the Colt restaurant. In 1994 she owned Hooter Browns restaurant until her retirement in 2004. Many of you will remember her for her green chili fries. Barbara loved spending time with her family and playing with her grandchildren. She will be missed be her family and friends.
Barbara is survived by her son Glen Stevens and wife Jennifer, and their sons Dustin and Cameron Stevens of Raton, Daughter, Hope Neurauter and husband Stanley and their daughter Ashley and son Tyler Neurauter of Raton, Sister-in-law Vivian Lark of Raton and her son James Lark and wife Gianetta of Sam Antonio, NM, nephews Jim Reid and wife Debbie of Raton, Pete Reid and wife Kathy of Raton and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be Wednesday November 26, 2014 at 9:30 A.M. at the United Methodist Church, burial will be in the Fairmont Cemetery.
Arrangements and celebration of Love for Barbara Lucile Stevens are under the direction of the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home of Raton.
