Larry Garcia, age 61, went to be with the Lord on November 20, 2014 in Pueblo, Colorado.
He was born in La Junta, Colorado, on July 3, 1953 to Dorthy (Gallegos) and Manuel Garcia.
Larry was employed for 35 years for the City of Trinidad as Animal Control Officer. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool, karaoke, and was known for his football pools. He loved his Broncos. Anytime he could spend with family, he loved it very much.
Preceding him in death are parents Manuel and Dorthy Garcia, sisters Ruth White, Georgia Gurule, brothers Richard Garcia and Joe Cordova.
He is survived by his daughter Elizabeth (Steve) Vigil , Pueblo, sons John (Renee) Garcia, Trinidad, and Chris Garcia, Pueblo. 12 grandchildren, Shirley Maldonado and her four daughters, brothers Eddie Garcia, Tom (Louise) Garcia, Phil (Adeline) Garcia, all of Trinidad, sisters Louise (Gene) Velasquez, Pueblo, Gloria Torres. Freida (Tom) Rios, Trinidad, numerous devoted nieces and nephews.
Services to be held on Friday November 28, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Faith Christian Fellowship Church with Pastor Bill Frashuer officiating.
Interment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
