Debbie Lucille Archuletta (Lovato) , passed away unexpectedly on September 18, 2014 at her home in Trinidad, CO.
She was born in Trinidad, CO. on March 15, 1957 to Albert and Rebecca Lovato. She grew up in Sopris and Jansen and attended area schools.
Debbie was married to Daniel Ruben Archuletta until his passing in 1998. Together they had two beautiful children, Percy and Rebecca Archuletta. Debbie also raised Shawn Lovato as her own son and she loved him very much.
Preceding her in death are parents Albert and Rebecca Lovato, sisters Cora Yzaguirre and Judith Anne Lovato, brothers James Lovato, Larry Lovato, Toby Lovato, Jerry Lovato , nephews Clifford and Slade Maes.
Survivors are special companion Fred Duran, son Percy Archuletta and his children Daniel and Kaleigh, loving daughter Rebecca Archuletta (Robert Madrid), sons Michael (Cheri) Archuletta, Raymond (Marcella) Archuletta, Daniel (Cesily) Archuletta, and daughter Annette (John) Becerra and their children. Also surviving are her brothers, Gerald Lovato, Donald Lovato, Wayne Lovato, Ray (Cynthia) Lovato and Ken (Amanda) Lovato, sisters Arlene Lovato, Jackie (Lonnie) Lopez, and Laverne (Alberto) Romero, special brother in law Thomas Archuletta and dear friends Raynette Garcia, Marissa Ortiz, Will, Desiree and Damian Morgan, and numerous nieces nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many friends.
Debbie was a home health care provider for the past 13 years. She loved listening to music, especially oldies, loved her dog Hita, spent a lot of time caring for her many flowers, loved to cook, and loved spending time with all of her family whom she loved very much. She was always making jokes, laughing, and spreading her contagious smile to everyone around her. To the ones close to her, she was also known as Debalicious.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at the Comi Funeral Home Chapel form 4PM-7PM. Funeral Services will be Friday, September 26, 2014, at 10AM at the Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Andy Ohman officiating. Dinner will immediately follow the services at the same location. Anyone wishing to bring food for the dinner may bring it to the Bible Baptist Church. Private inurnment will be at a later date. Pallbearers are all of her brothers and sisters. The family may be contacted at 220 S. Chestnut St.
