A black Ford pickup was traveling northbound on Interstate 25 approximately eight miles north of Wagon Mound when the vehicle entered the median and over turned approximately six times Thursday afternoon. The passenger, Oscar Brown age 68 of Arizona, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, Vivian Brown age 67 of Arizona, was airlifted to Saint Vincent’s Hospital in Santa Fe New Mexico and is listed in Critical Condition.
The accident is still under investigation but it appears that driver inattention may have been a contributing factor in the accident.
