Janet Dillon, age 69, died Monday, September 1, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Rev. Robert Hunt, pastor officiating. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.
Janet Dillon was born on December 12, 1944 to Hartsel Wright and Donna Irene (Clifton) Wright. She was raised on a ranch a few miles south of Clayton until they moved into Clayton in the mid 1950’s. Janet attended school in Clayton and graduated from Clayton High School in 1962. She worked for Montgomery Wards for many years and later she was the manager at KLMX Radio Station in Clayton for several years until she retired in 2010. Janet loved to play bridge, golf and pool and she enjoyed gambling. In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Jerry Don Wright and Billy Joe Wright and by a nephew; Billy Craig Wright.
SURVIVORS:
2 DAUGHTERS: Teri Dillon of Raleigh, North Carolina and Tina Parkhill and her husband Lance of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
1 SON: Brett Dillon and his wife Jennifer of Clayton, New Mexico.
4 GRANDCHILDREN: Devon Dillon and Emily Dillon both of Clayton, New Mexico and Dillon Parkhill and Julia Parkhill both of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
