Linda L. Murray, age 50, died Saturday, July 26, 2014 in Clayton, New Mexico.
Memorial Services will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Hass Funeral Home in Clayton, New Mexico with Deacon P. Louis Montoya, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.
Linda L. Murray was born on January 17, 1964 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Raymond Murray and Gloria Garcia. They lived in Albuquerque and then Las Cruces before moving to Clayton. Linda attended school in Clayton and graduated from Clayton High School in 1982. She attended college at ENMU in Portales for three years, then returned to Clayton where she worked as a secretary for AnnaMarie Durbin at the First National Bank in Clayton and then as a manager at the Eklund before moving to Salida, Colorado. While in Salida, Linda worked for High Country Bank as a bank teller and as a loan officer. Linda and John returned to Clayton in 2012 and Linda did volunteer work with many different organizations, wherever she was needed, especially anything associated with St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and the ladies altar society. Linda was preceded in death by a brother; Roger Lee Gutierrez, maternal grandfather; Steve Garcia, paternal grandmother; Rosie Hightower and by John’s father; Jack Raines.

1 SON: Kaleb Barnes and Holly of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
HER MOTHER: Gloria Garcia of Clayton, New Mexico.
HER FATHER: Raymond Murray of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
1 BROTHER: Terry Murray and his wife Deree of Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
1 SISTER: Hilaire Farias of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
HER PARTNER: John Raines of Clayton, New Mexico.
MATERNAL GRANDMOTHER: Josephine Garcia of Clayton, New Mexico.
And numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
