Janet B. Yarbrough, 72, lifetime New Mexico resident, died Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Valley View Villa in Fort Morgan.
She was born July 8, 1942 in Alamogordo, NM to Floyd & Mary (Chamberlin) Bailey. Janet was collection agent and owner of Raton Credit Bureau. She was married to James W. Yarbrough and had 2 children.
Janet was a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church of Raton, NM where she volunteered frequently. She enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Yarbrough (Russell Vicchrilli) and two grandchildren Myra & Kellie of Wiggins, CO; two sisters Marjorie Hepple of Moriarty, NM; and Susan Raby of Las Cruces, NM.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents; husband James W. Yarbrough; son James L. Yarbrough; and one brother David Bailey.
Memorial Service will be Wednesday July 30, 2014 at The 1st Presbyterian Church in Raton, NM at 10:00 AM. Memorial gifts may be made to charity of choice.
The Heer Mortuary in Ft. Morgan, CO is in charge of the cremation arrangements.
