Alesha Mae Cruz, age 37, died Friday, June 27, 2014 in Clayton, New Mexico.
Cremation has taken place and no public services are scheduled at this time.
Alesha Mae Cruz was born on August 23, 1976 in Raton, New Mexico to Domingo J. Cruz and Lori Jane (Kropf) Cruz. She attended school in Des Moines and graduated from Des Moines High School. After high school, Alesha attended Oklahoma Panhandle State University in Goodwell, Oklahoma and she graduated with a Bachelors Degree. She worked as a recruiter for OPSU and later for the University of Phoenix as well as working numerous waitress jobs. Alesha was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather; Archie Kropf, 2 uncles; Steve Booton and Ralph Solano and 1 cousin; Berek Solano.

PARENTS: Domingo and Lori Cruz of Des Moines, New Mexico.
Fiancé: Willie Goolsbey of Clayton, New Mexico and his children and family.
2 BROTHERS: Lonnie Domingo Cruz and his wife Cathy and Brent Alan Cruz all of Capulin, New Mexico.
MATERNAL GRANDMOTHER: Ruby Kropf of Capulin, New Mexico.
Nieces and Nephews: Colton Cruz, Cassidee Cruz and Beau Cruz.
Numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
MEMORIALS: The family asks that memorials be made to the Alesha Mae Cruz Scholarship fund care of the Farmers and Stockmans Bank in Des Moines or Clayton.
