Robert Martin Kaiser was born on January 23, 1926 in New York City, New York and died June 27, 2014.
Bob Kaiser was a plumber from New Hyde Park, NY for 26 years and on the Nassau County Plumbing Board in New York for years. He moved to Raton in 1976 and was co-owner of Kaiser Construction Company until he retired.
The son of William Joseph Kaiser and Ethel Maud Bennett. He was a Past Master and Secretary of the Paumanok – Port Washington Masonic Lodge No. 855 in New York. He was a 50+ year Masonic Member in New York and a member of Gate City Lodge #11 of Raton, NM. , a World War II Veteran, member of the Raton Optimist Club, and a member of St. Elizabeth Episcopal Church of Floral Park, NY and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church of Raton, NM.
Robert Kaiser is preceded in death by his parents, William and Ethel Kaiser. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Chase Kaiser of Clovis, NM, his son, Robert David Kaiser and wife Judy, of Melrose, NM, his daughters, Susan Kaiser Wortman and husband Tom, of Raton, NM and Millie T Randolph and husband Ram of Kiowa, CO. and brother William Kaiser and wife Friedel of Scottsdale, AZ as well as ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Mr. K was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be enormously missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, Mr. K asked that donations be made to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, STE 1509, New York, NY 10018.
He will be cremated and inurned in the Santa Fe National Cemetery following a military ceremony. The date is pending.
