Ronnie Vasquez age 43 of Raton passed away on Sunday June 1st, 2014. He was born on August 18th 1970 to Ron and Dora Sosa Vasquez in Raton. Ronnie loved to go bike riding with is daughter Hope whom he loved very much. He also loved to do wood work. He was a very giving and caring person and always put others first. He loved his parents and brothers very much and was a wonderful son, father, and uncle whom will be missed dearly.
Ronnie is survived by his parents, Dora Vasquez of Raton, NM and Ron Vasquez of Emporia, KS; daughter Hope Lynn Vasquez of Raton; sons: Robert, Josh, Phil and Anthony all of Springer, NM; and Jose Armijo of Phoenix, AZ; brothers: Michael Vasquez and wife Brenda of Raton, Jared Vasquez, and Vincent Vasquez and companion Rachael all of Emporia, KS; wife Tina Vasquez of Springer, NM. Numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces also survive.
A viewing will be held on Thursday June 5th, 2014 at 2pm in the chapel of the Alderette Pomeroy Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday June 6th, 2014 at 10am also in the Chapel of the Alderette Pomeroy Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
A fund has been set up at International Bank to help with the funeral expenses for Ron Vasquez.
Arrangements for Ronnie Vasquez are under the care and direction of the Alderette Pomeroy Funeral Home of Raton.
