Max Ernie Rodriquez age 71 of Raton passed away on Monday May 19th 2014. He was born on February 24, 1943 to Edmund and Rose Rodriquez in Raton, New Mexico.
Ernie always had a passion for horses and at a young age he became a horse jockey for several years. He raced in Del Mar, California; Tucson, Arizona; and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ernie was preceded in death by his parents, sister Priscilla Clifford, and brothers Raymond and Johnny. He is survived by sisters Margaret Dutton and Family, Beatrice Forston and Family, Josie Baca and family, Theresa Whittle and family, Eleanore Rodriquez and family and Helen Gonzales and family. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will take place at a later date.
Arrangements for Max Ernie Rodriquez are under the care and direction of the Alderette Pomeroy Funeral Home of Raton.
