BACKGROUND: Albert E. Barnhart was born on January 11, 1928 in Manassa, Colorado to Onel Charles Barnhart and Nettie Lucille (Goins) Barnhart. He enlisted in the army at age 18 during WWII and was stationed in the Philippines. Albert farmed and ranched south of Sedan and also worked as a cowboy on several ranches in the area. He moved to Clayton in 1998 and then to Junction, Tx in 2009. Albert made friends everywhere he went and loved to tell the stories of his life to anyone who would listen. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, step mother Alice C. Barnhart, brother Francis C. Barnhart and sister-n-law Lorene Monroe Barnhart. Albert attended Harvest Baptist Church of Clayton.

2 NIECES: Connie Barnhart Gordy and her husband H.W. of Junction, Texas and Laurie Barnhart Kuykendall and her husband Donnie of Hunter, Oklahoma.
2 NEPHEWS: Bob Barnhart and his wife Polly of Cortez, Colorado and David Barnhart and his wife Susie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
