Louie T. Encinias age 74, passed away on April 18th 2014 in Trinidad Colorado after a lengthy illness. He passed with his loved ones by his side. He was born July 9th 1939 to Jose and Cordellia Encinias. He was preceded in death by his parents Jose and Cordellia Encinias, wife Eloisa Encinias, brothers Carlos and Eddie, Nephew Mark Encinias, and great granddaughter Jasmine Colangelo.
Louis was employed by Rocky Mountain Metal in Raton until his retirement. Louie spent time taking care of his mother until her passing. He loved being outdoors, listening to Spanish music and being with his friends and family.
He is survived by his children; Anthony Encinias of Pueblo, CO, Kathy Vialpando of Raton, NM, Kenneth (Lisa) Encinias of Trinidad, CO, Joe (Myra) Encinias of Trinidad, CO, grandchildren; Jackie, Monica, Jennifer, Darlene, Angel, Chaz, Amanda, Jonathon, Brian, Gracie, Audrey, Sephra, brothers; Fred (Marcella) Encinias of Raton, George (Mary) Encinias of Raton, sister Vivian Slaughter also of Raton, and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
A viewing will be held on Thursday April 24th 2014 from 2pm to 4pm in the chapel of the Alderette Pomeroy Funeral Home. Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be on Friday April 25th2014 at 9:30am at the St. Patrick’s-St. Joseph’s Catholic Church recited by Deacon Thomas Alderette, Solemn Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 10:00am with Father John Trambley as the Celebrant. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
