Irvying Urquijo age 20 of Springer, NM passed away on April 8, 2014 in Portalles, NM. He was born on June 20, 1993 to Manuel Urquijo Quinteros and Zayra Anjelica Urquijo in Las Vegas, NM.
Irvying was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Manuel Urquillo. He is survived by his parents, 2 brothers Jesus and Jose Miguel both of Springer, NM, one sister Gloria Oralia of Juarez, Mexico, maternal grandparents Jose and Luz Bustillos, paternal grandmother Oralia Urquillo, one niece, one nephew, and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Irvying loved bull riding and loved spending time with family and friends. He was in his second year of college at South Eastern University in Portales, NM.
There will be a viewing on Friday April 11, 2013 in the chapel of the Alderette Pomeroy Funeral Home from 4 to 6pm.
Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be held on Saturday April 12, 2014 at 1:30pm at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Springer, NM recited by the Knights of Columbus. Solemn Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 2:00pm with Father Emmanuel Izuka as the Celebrant. Rite of Committal and Interment will be at the Springer Cemetery. A dinner will be served following the burial at the Springer National Guard Armory.
