William Meyers ( Bill, Uncle Bobo, The Marshal) Brattain of Raton was born on April 17, 1951 and passed away peacefully on March 14, 2014 at Christus St Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Leanne and his youngest son. He is survived by his loving wife, Nita Brattain; son Will Brattain; brother Mike Brattain; sister Lori Uncapher and many nieces and nephews.
Bill loved his family, friends, church and country. He cared about animals and wildlife. He loved to go fishing. He was a creative and hardworking man.
There will be a Memorial Fellowship Service and Celebration of Life for Bill Brattain on Saturday March 29, 2014 at High Praise Ranch from 11:00 to 12.00 PM with luncheon to follow. The ranch is located at 35230 Hiway 64/87 which is about 3 miles east of Raton on the Clayton Highway.
