According to Raton Police Chief Terry Sisneros vandals struck again this time by shooting windows on two businesses and windows on at least five vehicles located in various parts of town.
It appears the vandals used a BB gun or Pellet gun to shoot the windows at RPS on North First and the SOY building on Tiger Drive. Officers found windows on cars broken on Brilliant early Tuesday morning about 1:30 a.m. and were notified of others later that day. According to Chief Sisneros the window shooting spree took place sometime late Monday night to early Tuesday morning.
The investigation continues on this and the tire slashing incidents last weekend. So far no solid leads have developed as to who the perpetrators are and Chief Sisneros is planning to seek reward money from Crimestoppers to help entice someone to come forward with information on these crimes.
