Vernon K. Borrego of Gulnare, Colorado entered into rest Feb 19, 2014 at St.Mary Corwin Hospital in Pueblo, Colorado surrounded by his loving children and granddaughter. He was born in Larmie, Wyoming on Feb 21, 1958.
His hobbies included hunting, fishing, and going for nature rides. Vernon loved listening to the record player with his wife, making BBQ’s, playing and dancing with his grandchildren, gardening, and being with his friends. He also enjoyed watching television. His favorite programs included, Bonanza

Preceding him in death are wife Jean Doris Borrego, and parents Amador and Ferminia Ulibarri.
He is survived by children, Vanessa Borrego ( Husband Rosario Lopez G.), Jessica Borrego (Husband Silvino Labatos),Vernon J. Borrego
grandchildren, Nadia Borrego, Latisha Labatos, Junior Labatos, siblings, Tomasita (John) Brown , Amador (Kami) Ulibarri Leo (Debbie) Ulibarri ,numerous aunts, uncles, sister & brother in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many many friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2PM-7PM at the Comi Chapel.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, February 27, 2014 10AM at First Christian Church with Pastor Cary Nelson officiating.
Cremation to follow services with private family inurnment at a later date.
