In Memory of James T. (Jim) Kemp

James T. (Jim) Kemp age 80, of Raton, a native of Middletown, OH passed away January 30, 2014 at his home in Raton. He was born and raised in Middletown, OH on Oct. 18, 1933 to Thomas R. and Dorothy Kemp. James enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Washington D.C. where he met and married the love of his life Elsie. Then he worked and retired from Bell Atlantic (Verizon) Telephone Company of Virginia in 1992. In 1993 Jim and his wife Elsie retired to Raton, NM. 
He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Ralph and sister Sally and a sister-in-law Jeannie. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of fifty seven years Elsie, Son Alan, a brother, Terry and wife Pam, sister Sandra and several cousins, neices and nephews. 
Memorial services will be Friday February 7, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home of Raton with Terry Kemp officiating.
