After 10 long years, lots of paperwork and wrangling the $3 million Crews Field Runway Expansion Project is finally complete.
Dignitaries and others responsible for completion of the project were on hand today to cut the ribbon officially opening the 1300 foot runway extension. The ribbon cutting took place at the end of the original runway and where the expansion project began.
