Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 APM on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Hass Funeral Home in Clayton, New Mexico with Don Davidson and John McDonald officiating. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.
Onealure (Lewis) Oldham Carroll was born on September 20, 1924 in Houston, Mississippi to Moses Lewis and Ava (Cuave) Lewis. She married Lawrence Edward Oldham on September 22, 1950 and he preceded her in death on February 14, 1966. She later married Roy Howard Carroll on January 5, 1976 and he preceded her in death on September 14, 1996. Onealure was also preceded in death by her parents and by 3 brothers; William Lewis, Ross Lewis and Rolf Lewis.
SURVIVORS:
2 DAUGHTERS: Avabelle Oldham of Tucumcari, New Mexico and Barbara Dean Williams of Clayton, New Mexico.
4 SONS: Lawrence Edward “Larry” Oldham and his wife Doris of Denver, Colorado, Arnold Everet Oldham and his wife Pat of Flora Vista, New Mexico, Daniel Herman Oldham and his wife Debbie of Meridian, Mississippi and Kenneth Earl Oldham of Raton, New Mexico.
6 Grandchildren & numerous Great-Grandchildren.
2 SISTERS: Minnie Lou Anderson and Mary Bassett.
5 BROTHERS: Albert E. Lewis, James R. Lewis, Huey Lewis, Charles Lewis and Murray Lewis.
