James Anthony Jaramillo, age 37, of Raton passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2013. He was born October 23, 1975 in Tucumcari, NM. the son of Dorothy Frances Encinias . He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed working on his car;
James was preceded in death by his aunt Lucy Bisconti Vit uncle Robert Martinez and cousins Nathan E. Martinez, Christopher Montoya Mike Romero and Bobby Martinez. He is survived by his fiancée Rhonda M. Gonzales of Raton, mother Dorothy Frances Encinias of Raton; sisters Marsha Trujillo and husband Andrew of Raton, Esther Martinez of Raton and Christina Gallegos of Liberal, KS; brothers Albert Gallegos and wife Lori of Liberal, KS., Raymond Jaramillo and Jeremy Chavez of Amarillo, TX. and aunt Arsenia Martinez; He is also survived by nephew Jaime Martinez and nieces Abelina Trujillo, Nizshone Trujillo, Drewlyn Trujillo, Charity Trujillo, Jamilyn Martinez, Giana Jaramillo and Dejonique Tarufelli. and a host of other nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private visitation for family only will be held on Saturday 26, 2013 at the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home of Raton
Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be held at 9:30 AM on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at St. Patrick -St. Joseph Catholic Church in Raton recited by Deacon Thomas Alderette. Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 10:00 AM also at St. Patrick-St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father John Trambley as the celebrant. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
