Josephine Kinkela, former resident of Trinidad and current resident of Denver, died peacefully in her home on October 19, 2013 at the age of 90 years old.
She was born February 20. 1923 in Valdez, CO to parents Frank and Rose Spicola.
She graduated from Trinidad High School, then married Frank Kinkela who preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and held several jobs, one of which was cook at Mt. Carmel School.
She was preceded in death by her husband and three sisters.
She is survived by bother Frank (Rosalie) Spicola ,three daughters, Rose Marie (Vic) Grad, Jo Ann (Dan) Carbone and Cathy Knipple, grandchildren, Kristi (Chris) Garrison, Jeffrey (Traci) Grad, and Matthew Knipple, great grandchildren, Carter and Cameron Garrison and Lexi Grad, nieces, Florence Cuccia, Janice (Jim) Bradburn, Michele (Kurt) Melvin, great nephews and great nieces.
Josephine lived for her children and grandchildren and was loved dearly by her family, She will be greatly missed.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, October 22, 2013 with Rosary at 12:15PM at Comi Chapel followed by the Funeral Mass at 1:00PM at Holy Trinity Church.
Entombment will follow at the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
