Ariela Andrea Aleman, 17, was your typical teenage girl who kept her music loud and had an aspiration for fashion. She loved dressing up in many way from classy and chic to a classic cowgirl. As a young child she loved to dance and play dress up with her sisters and cousins. She will always be remembered for her beautiful double-dimpled megawatt smile and contagious giggle. Her family and friends will rely on those memories to help them through this tragic loss.
Ariela was welcomed into the gates of Heaven by our Lord, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 in Falfurrias, Texas. She was born, the second of three girls, on May 27, 1996 to Faustino Aleman, III and Edna Idalia Lopez Aleman in Corpus Christi, Texas. Ariela was currently living with her family in Raton, New Mexico and is a former resident of Falfurrias, Texas.
She was embraced in Heaven by the loving arms of her maternal grandfather, Wilfredo Lopez, Sr. Ariela leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving parents, Faustino “Tino” and Edna Aleman, III; two sisters, Gabriela Idalia (Dakota Redd) Aleman and Dariela Dalia Aleman all of Raton, NM; paternal grandparents, Alfredo and Amanda Garza, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Leonor Lopez all of Falfurrias, Texas; four uncles, Javier (Misty) Aleman, Eliazar (Cassie Garcia) Aleman both of Falfurrias, Wilfredo (Mary) Lopez, Jr. of Zapata, Texas and Adam (Norma) Lopez of Falfurrias; seven aunts, Olga (AB) Montalvo, Crissy (Corry) Escalante, Mollie (Octavio) Gaytan, Selina (Adam Moreno) Garza all of Falfurrias, Sandrina (Abel Longoria) Garza of Raton, NM, Inez (Tony) Gonzalez and Nora Lee Gonzalez both of Falfurrias; Godparents, Noel and Florinda Cantu of Rio Grande, Texas and numerous cousins, extended family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be: Jerry Hernandez, Jr., Tony Gonzalez, III, Robert Gonzalez, Carlos Gonzalez, Noah Aleman, Caiden Escalante, Ricardo Longoria and Dakota Redd.
A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 16, 2013 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias.
Interment will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
ON WEDNESDAY SEPT 18TH @ 6PM THERE WILL A CANDLELIGHT VIGIL IN RATON AT RIPLEY PARK. WE ARE ASKING YOU TO WEAR PINK OR PURPLE AS THOSE WERE HER FAVORITE COLORS.
