Florence “Flo” Evelyn Molgaard
(July 15, 1940 – August 27, 2013)
Florence “Flo” Evelyn (Hall) Molgaard passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 27th, 2013 in her Sahuarita, AZ home. Flo was born in Clayton, NM on July 15, 1940. and She attended Isabell Powell Beauty School in Lubbock, TX and resided in Houston, TX where she raised her two daughters and had a successful career as a stylist and salon owner. Preceded in death by parents James Elbert and Margaret Hall, and siblings Winston, Twyla and Anthony Hall. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Don Molgaard, two daughters Camille Finn of Tucson, AZ and Shannon Prince-Giesen (Tim) of Denver, CO; and grandchildren Brendan, Brian and Kristin Finn; and Benjamin and Levi Giesen; brothers Jimmy Hall and Walter Hall of Clayton, NM; stepchildren Greg Molgaard (Debbie), Calaiha Hamburger (Glenn), Bill Molgaard and Diane Gier and 8 step-grandchildren and 3 great-step-grandchildren. Flo loved our country. Flo was a people connector and a friend maker. She loved flowers, adventures and a “good project”; enjoyed snow skiing, biking and wide-open spaces. She was an artist, designer, stylist and a poet. She was a great friend, mom, wife and caregiver. Her most recent favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren. A memorial mass will be held at 1pm on Tuesday September 3rd at San Martin de Porres Church at 15440 South Santa Rita Road, Sahuarita, AZ 85629 (520) 625 1154.
