Mud Bog 2013

The Mud pit is two feet deep of thick sticky mud but the Outlaw Mud Boggers seemed to fly through the bog to a large crowd Saturday afternoon and evening at the Raton Rodeo grounds.
There were several local drivers that tried their hand at the bog, even the ladies played in the mud. Most went for distance in the sticky mud while a few actually made the 90 foot distance and recorded a time. Times for the Outlaw Boggers were in the time frame of just under two seconds to about four seconds. What a sight it was to see them bounce and throw mud some 40+ feet into the air.
This was only a small part of the crowd at the 2013 Mud Bog race at the Raton Rodeo Grounds Saturday afternoon. |
