Luna Community College’s Student Senate received a Buen Vecino Award from Las Vegas Mayor Louie A. Trujillo earlier this week for their efforts in organizing a Samaritan House Holiday Drive in December. The Buen Vecino Award states: In Recognition of your important contributions and for your extraordinary service and dedication to the Las Vegas Community. The award is part of the volunteer cooperative Vecinos Juntos. Pictured (l-r) are Alisson Hill, R.J. Baca, Stephanie Carrillo, Mario Romero, Angelica Montanez and Mayor Trujillo.
