Jeremy Bernard Montoya, aged 42, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025. His family is
\ndeeply saddened and shocked by his sudden and unexpected death. Jeremy was born on
\nAugust 19, 1982, to Linda and Bernard Montoya in Trinidad, CO.
\nHe was a graduate of Primero High School and had many talents in construction and carpentry
\nHe had a huge heart and loved animals and people. He was known to help any person or
\ncreature, at any time. However, he never asked for anything from anyone for himself.
\nAlthough Jeremy’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to
\nlive and shine in our hearts. May his memory be a blessing and provide us with warmth and
\ncomfort in his absence. Those who knew Jeremy will remember him for his kindness,
\nintelligence, and sense of humor.
\nHe was preceded in death by his mother, Linda, with whom he is now reunited in Heaven. He
\nleaves behind his loving father, Bernard; brothers, Anthony, David, Don, and Jarrod, and sister
\nMechelle; plus, several nieces and nephews.
\nViewingA\/visitation for the public will be from 3 PM to 6 PtVl Thursday, February 20, 2025, at
\nComi Funeral Home.
\nFuneral service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Holy Trinity Catholic
\nChurch. Motorcade will proceed from the church to the Burial at Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
\nLunch will be provided to the public at La Casa in Jansen immediately following the burial
\nin Jeremy’s honor.
\nPallbearers will be his brothers Anthony, Dave, and Don; close friend Joe Rail; cousin Erik; and
