Crawford. Beloved husband, Father, Brother, and \u201cPapa\u201d has entered the gates of heaven. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">James was born on February 12, 1950, in Cleveland Ohio to Betty Horton and James Telfer Crawford. Jim attended and graduated from Devilbiss High School in Toledo Ohio in 1968. Soon after graduating High School, he joined the military serving as a Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps in Okinawa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">As the son of Lt Colonel James T Crawford, US Army, Jim led a life full of stories: Living in Taiwan, Germany, and numerous states. Jim was a car salesman for 8 years, Jim worked for the state of Colorado for 25 years at the DMV and was known as the \u201cDriver\u2019s License Guy\u201d and known for his stubborn attitude. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">He loved going to the lake, reading, bird watching, gardening, football, and spending his time outdoors. Jim always recognized the beauty in everything in life no matter the struggles, having a strong relationship in faith. Jim was known and loved by many and will be forever remembered by all who knew him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a name=\"_GoBack\"><\/a> <span style=\"font-size: large;\">James is survived by his wonderful and loving wife Marlene of 43 years, his daughter Sara, his grandchildren Caleb, and Mariah and his sister Laurie Batanian, and many Nieces and Nephews.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">James was preceded in death by his son James \u201cJimmy\u201d, Father, and Mother, sisters Janet and Katherine, and stepmother Mary Spooner Crawford. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Celebration of life\/Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, July 11<\/span><sup><span style=\"font-size: large;\">th<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"font-size: large;\"> at 10:00 am at the First United Methodist Church (Trinidad Community Church) 216 Broom St. Trinidad Co 81082.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>James \u201cJim\u201d Frisbie Crawford February 12, 1950 \u2013 June 22, 2024 James F.
