Rob was born on July 17, 1945, in North Bergen, N.J., to Howard and Ruth<br \/>\nMartin. He is survived by his children: Allison Sandlin nee Martin, Scott Sandlin, Dana Paine<br \/>\nnee Martin, William Moran, Nadya Moran, and his grandchildren Tayler, Brielle, Rylee, Logan,<br \/>\nand Kaeden. Additionally, he is survived by his sister Marilyn, and numerous nieces and<br \/>\nnephews.<br \/>\nRob harbored a deep passion and love for music that spanned every genre and era. A musician<br \/>\nin his youth, he joined the Navy in 1965, serving in the Vietnam War and receiving an honorable<br \/>\ndischarge in 1968. For 25 years, he worked as a terminal manager at &#8220;Ward Trucking,&#8221;<br \/>\ndedicated to providing for his family. In 2001, Rob moved to Trinidad, Colorado, to be closer to<br \/>\nhis children and became an integral part of the local business, Trinidad Builders Supply. Upon<br \/>\nretiring at the age of 76, he spent the rest of his days in the calm and peace he longed for.<br \/>\nAs per his wishes, Rob was cremated on Friday, March 1st, 2024, and his ashes will be<br \/>\ndistributed among his children and grandchildren. There will be no funeral services, in<br \/>\naccordance with his wishes. However, his family encourages anyone who knew and loved him<br \/>\nto celebrate his life and friendship in their own way.
