Bret grew up in Clayton and graduated from Clayton High School in 1983. \u00a0Upon graduation, he attended West Texas State University then transferred to New Mexico State University where he graduated with degrees in Accounting and Business and Finance in 1990. \u00a0Bret returned to Clayton and began his career at Double-A Feeders as an Office Manager. \u00a0Bret enjoyed many hobbies that included: vintage car restoration, golf, playing pool, and hunting. \u00a0His most cherished memories were those that surrounded his family. There were many hunting outings, competitive shooting competitions, and attending various sporting activities. \u00a0Bret is preceded in death by his parents Janet Dillon and John Dillon; grandparents Irene Wright, Hartsell Wright, Ruth Dillon, and WA Dillon. \u00a0He is survived by his son Devon Dillon and his wife Morgan, daughter, Emily Dillon; mother of his children Jennifer Gonzales; sisters, Teri Dillon and Tina Parkhill; nephews JO Harkins, Jacob Romero, Nicholas Romero, and Dillon Parkhill; nieces Alyson Harkins and Julia Parkhill; and 3 grandchildren Deagan Maez, D\u2019Andre Dickson, and Garrett Dillon.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bret Hartsell Dillon ( July 29, 1965 &#8211; December 05, 2023 ) Bret Hartsell Dillon Bret passed away on December 5, 2023, at the age of 58.
