Paul<\/span> J.<\/span><\/span> Sisneros<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

(<\/span> June<\/span> 01,<\/span> 1938<\/span> –<\/span> May<\/span> 10,<\/span> 2023)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

On May 10th, 2023, Retired First Sergeant,<\/span> 82nd<\/span> Airborne,<\/span> Paul<\/span> “Pab<\/span>lo<\/span>“<\/span><\/p>\n

J. Sisneros was called to Heaven at the age of 84. First Sgt. Sisneros was born on<\/span> June 1st, 1938 <\/span>in <\/span>Las Vegas, NM. <\/span>In <\/span><\/span>1956, he<\/span> joined the United States Anny and proudly served his country for 22 years.<\/span> A<\/span> veteran<\/span> of<\/span> the<\/span> Vietnam<\/span> War,<\/span> he\u00a0<\/span>was<\/span> awarded the<\/span> Purple Heart and<\/span> the<\/span> Bronze Star.<\/span> After retiring<\/span> from<\/span> the military, Paul joined the coal mines, spending most of those years with York Canyon.<\/span><\/p>\n

Paul was a brave and <\/span>loyal <\/span>soldier, as well as a kind and loving father, grandfather, uncle, brother, son, and godfather. <\/span>In<\/span><\/span><\/span> 1964, he married Lena Casias and had four children. More than anything, Paul cherished his family and will be <\/span>lovingly <\/span>remembered by his children Michael (Christina), Tina (Russell), Rosalie <\/span>(Rod), <\/span>and Paul, Jr. <\/span>(Christine), <\/span>and his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.<\/span><\/p>\n

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Marcelina Sisneros<\/span>, <\/span>his <\/span>siblings, Tony (Patsy) Sisneros, Jenny Sisneros, Gilbert <\/span>“Chico” <\/span>Sisneros, <\/span>and <\/span>Virginia (Elfego) Garcia, as well as his loving wife, <\/span>Lena <\/span>Sisneros, <\/span>and <\/span>in-laws, Raymond and Rose Casias. He is survived by his siblings, Carlos (Ethel Mae) Sisneros, Joe (Martha) Sisneros, and Elma (Joe) Trujillo, and by his children and grandchildren.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary for Retired <\/span>First <\/span>Sergeant Paul Sisneros will be held on June 27th, 2023 at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Springer, NM at 9:30 am recited by the Knights of Columbus followed by the Mass of Christian burial <\/span>a<\/span>t <\/span>10:00 <\/span>a.m. <\/span>with Fr. Trieu as the Celebrant. <\/span>In <\/span><\/span><\/span>lieu of flowers, donations to the Wounded Warrior Project on behalf of Paul are appreciated.<\/span><\/p>\n
