Ramona Ann Spalding, 65 of Springer, NM went to meet <\/span>the <\/span>Lord Thursday, May 25, 2023.<\/span> She was born on January 18, <\/span>1958, <\/span>in Portales.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ramona was a long-time resident of Springer and was<\/span> a member of the<\/span> First Baptist Church. Ramona spent most of her<\/span> life<\/span> as<\/span> a<\/span> full-time<\/span> mother<\/span> and<\/span> wife,<\/span><\/p>\n

who<\/span> raised three beautiful daughters.<\/span> Her faith in God was unbreakable <\/span>and<\/span> she<\/span> faced death with a courage that only he could give.<\/span> Her <\/span>strength <\/span>and her confidence in a future home in Heaven were an inspiration to us all.<\/span> Her love for her family and friends will be deeply missed<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ramona was preceded in <\/span>death <\/span>by her husband<\/span> T<\/span>om <\/span>Spalding, her father and<\/span> mother,<\/span> Grady<\/span> and<\/span> Bee<\/span> Criswell,<\/span> brother<\/span> Clark<\/span> Criswell,<\/span> and grandson<\/span> Evan Thomas<\/span> Lamb,<\/span> she left behind<\/span> three <\/span>daughters,<\/span> Denise and<\/span> husband<\/span> Matt<\/span> Lamb<\/span> of<\/span> Farmington,<\/span> NM,<\/span> Danette<\/span> Spalding<\/span> of Springer, NM, and Trisa and husband <\/span>Jimmy <\/span>Tafoya of<\/span> Las Vegas, NV. <\/span>Four <\/span>grandsons, Elijah and Isiah <\/span>Lamb<\/span> of Farmington,<\/span> Malachi<\/span> Rogers of<\/span> Springer,<\/span> and<\/span> Ezekiel<\/span> Crane<\/span> of<\/span> Farmington,<\/span> and<\/span> one granddaughter Meadow<\/span> Crane<\/span> of<\/span> Farmington<\/span>. <\/span>One<\/span> brother<\/span> Grady and<\/span> his<\/span> wife Angel Criswell<\/span> of<\/span> Cimarron,<\/span> and<\/span> one<\/span> sister<\/span> Zola<\/span> Criswell<\/span> of<\/span> Springer,<\/span> NM. Nephews,<\/span> Will<\/span> and<\/span> wife<\/span> Jessica<\/span> Criswell<\/span> of<\/span> Durham,<\/span> NC.,<\/span> Adam Criswell of Maxwell, NM., one niece Shelby and husband Josh Jaurigui of<\/span> Denver,<\/span> CO.,<\/span> also<\/span> Aunt,<\/span> Eudean<\/span> Meyers<\/span> of<\/span> Amarillo,<\/span> TX.<\/span> And\u00a0<\/span>numerous<\/span> cousins<\/span> and<\/span> friends.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ramona dedicated her<\/span> life to serving<\/span> Our<\/span> Lord and<\/span> striving<\/span> to be the<\/span> best <\/span>wife, mother, grandmother, and<\/span> sister she could be,<\/span> she succeeded! She was the Best! We love you, Mom!<\/span><\/p>\n

Services will<\/span> be<\/span> held<\/span> at<\/span> the<\/span> First<\/span> Baptist<\/span> Church in<\/span> Springer,<\/span> NM.<\/span> on<\/span> June 16 <\/span>2023 at 11:00 AM<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n
